So it's been a while, but I am headed out to the links tomorrow morning for the first time this year...& I have to say that I'm having mixed emotions. I p
romised myself that I would play more this year than I did last year (a whopping 3 times) & it'll be great to be back out there, but I'm definitely not as excited as I would have that that I'd be...
The thing that's getting me is getting the twins out of bed when they wake-up. It's the best to walk in there & have them smile at you when the see you. At least half of the time they're standing-up, holding onto the rail of their crib, jumping up & down...talking to each other & conspiring on their plans for the day....then they put their arms up for you to pick them up & bring them out into the living room. Since their still a little groggy, they actually sit with you as you crash into the over-sized chair with them on
your lap.
But I'll be gone by the time that they wake up in the morning...so today & marked my golf balls with a little green shamrock next to the numbers (my new ball ID marking..shamrocks are my new thing since the twins...we still have the shamrock cut-outs from their 1st birthday party hanging up), put the last wallet pics of them into the pocket of my golf bag (next to my Grandfather's prayer card), finished regripping my irons (it's too bad that they don't make green grips...), strapped my Hula Girl cover onto my Cami & will hope for a good round tomorrow...
I'm going to miss tomorrow morning...
